Benjamin Maddox, M.D.
Dr. Benjamin Maddox, a Nashville native, received his undergraduate degrees in Biology and Philosophy from the College of Charleston. He attended medical school at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, where he was named an Albert M. Hand, MD Scholar. He completed his residency and chief residency at the University of Tennessee Internal Medicine Residency Program in Nashville, before joining the faculty in 2018. He is an active member of the Society of Hospital Medicine, and serves as a Wellness Champion for the American College of Physicians. His academic interests include physician wellness and innovative approaches to clinical education.
